In Castelmauro, on the summit of Mount Mauro to 1042 m, it is installed a modern astronomical observatory, equipped with the most advanced robotic telescope currently on the Italian territory, the CRT, which is state of the art in the field. The observatory was created as part of a collaboration between the City of Castelmauro and ATEC Robotics which co-financed the work and manages the evolution.
